How long does Botox last?
Typical duration is 2.5-4 months (most averaging 3 months). Things that can affect duration are: proper dosing, metabolism, exercise frequency, muscle strength, frequent sun exposure, age, stress, and recent illness.
When will Botox begin working?
Botox will begin working in as little as 3-7 days, peaking around the two week mark.
What is the aftercare?
Avoid exercising for 24 hours, avoid laying down for 4 hours, and avoid any pressure to the treatment area (including facial massage, eyebrow waxing or wearing a hats). The goal is to prevent Botox from spreading to surrounding muscles which can cause asymmetries, eyelid or eyebrow drooping (ptosis).
Is it painful?
Most patients find Botox injections tolerable, with a small pinch or sting. Ice packs are provided for comfort.
Who is a good candidate for Botox?

Avoid Botox or filler treatments and vaccinations or boosters within 2 weeks of each other.
What can I do to help my Botox results last?
Skincare! Protect your investment by protecting your skin. Find an SPF you like. Sun damage can occur even on cloudy days, so wear that SPF daily! Retinol, Vitamin C, growth factors and peptides can all help support your skin. Your consult will help determine if these are right for you. Zinc is a great supplement that can help prolong the life of your Botox.
If I decide to stop Botox, what happens?
Your muscles return to their normal activity once botox is worn off and wrinkles with begin to return.
